Betty on Arisaig Beach!
When my 8 year old, French Lop, Betty developed arthritis, she required daily medication.
We started taking her on holiday with us in our motorhome.
We look a bunny pen so she could have outdoor time and her harness and lead, taking her everywhere with us.
She was often the star of the campsite, especially attracting children.
My partner and I would find ourselves giving 'lessons' on rabbit welfare. (A busman's holiday for us as we are both teachers!).
Betty especially enjoyed the beaches in Scotland, lots of digging and not too hot!
Betty sadly passed away in January, leaving us with many happy memories.
We now have her great, great, great, great nephew, Bernard, who is following in her footsteps.
Having such amazing relationships with these, loyal, inquisitive, stubborn creatures is a huge privilege.
