Very Large Dwarf Kit!

by Theresa

We are first time breeders because we love our Netherland Dwarfs!

Our buck Simon is very small at just over 2 lbs and our doe Sofie is 3 lbs.

Our BUG doe just recently had four kits. They were just born six days ago and they are all normal in appearance but one kit is MUCH larger than the other three!

This big kit is very dominant and pushes the smaller ones out of the way so it can nurse first. This kit is very active and can jump out of the box!

What should we do about the three small ones? We don't want them to die!

They all have fat tummies but the smaller 3 have narrow shoulders. The big kit is big all over! What kind of genes did he get!?
