Lionhead Kits
Blue Lionhead
Double Maned Lionhead
REW Lionhead

I was told my lion head mix was a male so I didn't separate him from my other two males.

Then I saw 'him' nesting last Thursday and found out she's female!

My lop and satin mix got her pregnant in what I thought was just trying to show dominance.

She had eight kits Wednesday night to Thursday morning between 11th and 15th December 2016.

Four of the kits look just like the father in color and pattern. One is going to be white or a light color, one will be a mix of their colors, and definitely one MAYBE two are lilacs, as they have a purple-blue-gray tint to them.

Great Christmas Gift!
by: Kerry

Hi Assylla,

What a surprise just before Christmas!

Being told you have a male when really you have a female is quite common so you're not alone there.

It sounds like you had a successful pregnancy and birth which is wonderful, and great colours too.

Are you going to keep them all? If not I hope you manage to find great homes for them. Lionheads are a very new breed and are gaining in popularity so I'm sure you wont be short of offers for these little buns.

How about posting some photos so we can all see how cute they are :-)

Thanks for sharing your lovely news.
