Rabbit Traitor

"Don't Say Hello to My Little Friend!"

I inherited my male rabbit from my granddaughter (novelty had worn off).

He is 3, he had never had toys or a proper run, but it was obvious after a few weeks, he loved toys and loved playing.

However, every time I left his pen, he would sit looking for me, so decided it may be best to get him a mate.

I had him neutered and got a female from the Blue Cross (who had also been done).

They have taken to each other like ducks to water from day one.

The problem I have now is, my male rabbit is horrible to me. He goes for me all the time now and I don't know how to stop him.

The female is as good as gold, and although she was left in a box in woods, she has since learnt to trust me and allows me to stroke her and pick her up (sometimes).

They will both take food from me, but the male then gets aggressive.

Now I'm not sure what I should do with the little traitor! He absolutely loved me before I got the female.

Any suggestions please?!

I am not thinking of getting rid of either of them, I just want him to understand I am not a threat and will not be taking his little friend from him.

Cuddle them together but wear thick gloves with first attempt?
